The Subansiri River (Chayul Chu in Tibet) is a trans-Himalayan river and a tributary of the Brahmaputra River that flows through Tibet's Lhuntse County in the Shannan Prefecture, and the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. The Subansiri is 442 kilometres (275 mi) long.
Today on 11th February 2023, I visited the Ancient Vishnu Mandir located at the top of the Payhali Pahar hillock. It is believed to be several hundreds years old , constructed under the patronage of king Arimatta at that time. This region was full of several ancient mandirs but washed away during the passage of time . This mandir was maintained by caretakers till few years back.
