I started working as an wild life awareness , photographer and plantation educator in various schools ,colleges and other places. Also working as a rescuer of various endangered species of snakes, animals and birds. I, am still studying and published ‘ White Wing Wood Duck, Horn Owl, Snake, Weaver Bird, Barheaded, Brahmini Duck, River Dolphin, Cobra Snakes, Great Adjustment stock and general stock etc. I started writing from 1989 for various magazines and newspapers etc. Also associated with various NGO’s and at present I am the president of PARAS NGO.and executive member of SHEWA NGOs. I received an award for my activities from the district commissioner of Jorhat as the “BEST MAN OF JORHAT” in 2003. I have done various awareness talks and programs for All India Radio, schools and colleges, institutes and other places.
All these activities allow me to have a title as a “Wild life lover”. I also received a Vocational award from Rotary club in 2006-2007. Campained and providing training for unemployed youth and also NYK, DICC business resource persons for social touch.I helped the forest department in catching the various wood smugglers and animals skins, bones smugglers. From 2010 a stiffened in district forest department as a wild life informer. From 2007 working as a journalist in the DAINIK JANAMBHUMI. My article on MULAI FOREST published first on dated -25-01-2010. This article gained attention world-wide and the Institute of Social-Science department of JwahaLal Nehru University of Delhi, India awarded Jadab Payeng as the “FOREST MAN OF INDIA” and me as a journalist for the coverage of Jadab Payeng story honoured me. On 17-07-2012 the former president of India Mr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, organized by Sri Chandramukhand art and culture sangha Mumbai, India gave the “GOLDEN AWARD” to Mr. Jadab Payeng with me.
