Me-Dam-Me-Phi,   the most important  festival of  Ahom Community was celebrated in New Delhi  on 31 January 2021 at Srimanta Sankaradeva Bhawan, New Delhi.  It was organised by ‘Association of Tai Ahom, Delhi –NCR’.  It is the manifestation of the concept of ancestor worship  offered in the name of three gods viz.  Me Dam Me Phi, Dam Changphi and Grihadam.   The festival  was attended by around 50 persons  consisting of children, youths, ladies,  elders   from various parts of  Delhi NCR.
