January 26th 2018 :- The Republic Day ceremony was celebrated by Assam Association Delhi in the  Srimanta Sankardev Bhawan today dated 26th January  by unfurling the Indian Flag at 10:30 by Sri Achyut Saikia President and Sri Dipak Saikia, General Secretary . In the speech, President welcomed all to participate in Nation building and serve the nation to improve the living condition of the citizen  . A few other speakers i.e. Sri T R Khound, Sri Dipak Saikia, Dr Moloya Khound, Dr Bipul Baruah, Mrs. Anjali Barooah, Ms Reem Pathak, Sri Mahanta , Sri Sarat Barkakoty, Sri Rupen Goswami, Sri Manik Pathak, Mrs. Trishna Barkakoty, Dr Hareswar Das etc marked their speech .  The flag hoisting  ceremony was  ended with vote of thanks from the  President. Later tea with snacks were served  amongst participants.
