Open Event  - The  event is free for all  -  i.e. not necessarily to be a member of Assam Association -Delhi.   Any interested person who loves Asamese culture/ food/ tradition are most welcome with their family members, friends and relatives.

·         Location :-  Central Secretariat Sports Ground , Vinay MArg, Chanakyapuri. The latitude and longitude is  -  28.5901272 N,   77.193275E

·         Day long program with multi-dimensional activities    The program  will be  day long event i.e. 10:30 am to  4:30 PM . The various events included  are i.e. flag hosting, lighting of meji , drawing competition for children ( requested to bring pencils , Colored pencils  eraser, etc ), 100 Meter race  competition amongst children ( boys & girls under various age category),   walking competition amongst Senior Ciitizen & ladies,  Tug-of –war ( male ) , Tug-of –war ( female), football competition , Music competition amongst children ( below 15 years)  for various category i.e lok geet, bihu geet, modern song etc, . The concluding program would be the Tambola/ Housie .

·         Food & beverage  - Tea  with traditional Assamese bihu pitha   would be  served free to  visitors.  But the  community feast ( around 1:30 PM onwards) would be a contributory . The food coupon of amounting Rs 300/- ( Rupees three hundred ) only would be made available in the Reception counter  on payment .

·         Car parking – Free  Car parking is available

·         Enrolment for Life Membership  - Provision has been made in the Reception counter  to apply to become Life Members of Assam Association- Delhi.  The form will be made available in the Reception counter. The membership fee  for single person is  Rs 2500/- ( Two thousands five hundred only ) and for both Mr & Ms is  Rs 4000/- ( Rupees Four thousands only ).   As the contribution of membership fee through  Chaque is preferred , so interested persons are requested to bring their cheque book  while visiting the Event.  As per procedure , the membership is to be  approved by Board committee and  the approval of membership is communicated through email/ postal once it is approved. In f exceptional cases  for non compliance, the Draft is reverted back by postal.

·         Updation of Directory -  Assam Association Delhi has been maintaining one Directory for their life members and other important persons and since this  directory requires   updation due to change  of residential address, email, phone numbers , mobile nos etc  for several members , provision would be made in the spot to update in the Directory   All life members and other dignitaries whose name have been made available in the Directory  are requested to make a quick look into the Directory ,  verify their credentials  and submit request to update it, if any inconsistency is found.

·         Exhibition Stall -    2  +2 Nos   of  exhibition stalls would be made available in the venue during the  program for start-up/ entrepreneur / sellers  etc  to promote & market  their products in the event.  It would be on payment  basis and on first come first basis. The size of the stall will be 15 ftX 7.5 ft with covered area , 1 table , 2 chairs with one 5 AMP power socket point to  run laptop etc). The hiring cost will be  Rs ( Rs 5000/- to Rs 7500 ) .
