Joined AMTRON, Guwahati as Computer Engineer 1n 1989 for few months and then joined NIC on 31/11/1989. After undergoing training for few months in NIC HQ, New Delhi, I joined Goalpara and worked till 1994 and then transferred to Lakhimpur in the year 1994 and worked till 2006. Then transferred to NIC Hq, New Delhi in October 2006 where worked in various projects/ Ministries i.e. Department of Land Resources, Nirman Bhawan, 2006-10, Department of Rural Development , Krishi Bhawan 2010-11, Skill India 2012, National Livelihood Mission 2013, Neeranchal Watershed Program 2014 , National Rural Roads Development Agency 2014 and then have been working in the North Eastern Region , Ministry of DoNER , Vigyan Bhawan Dec 2016-2022 November.
presently he looks after Ministry of Tourism, O/O Princiapl Scientific Adviser to Govt of India and iNoC Vigyan Bhawan
