A Voluntary Blood Donation program was held on 10th October 2021 from 10:30 AM onwards at Srimanta Sankaradeva Bhawan, New Delhi organized by Assam Association Delhi in association with Red Cross Society, New Delhi.

Organizing a blood donation camp has been under considering after getting continuous and frantic   requests   from various patients undergoing medical  treatment  in various hospitals in Delhi NCR Region majority of which are from Assam seeking blood donors desperately; a few of which  are of rare blood group.   Onerous difficulties have been felt to arrange blood at last hour. So in order to mitigate these difficulties and streamlining the blood donation process , contact with esteem organization Red cross Society, New Delhi was held and decided to organise a blood donation camp at the earliest. Though elaborate arrangement and efforts were made from both Assam Association Delhi as well as Red cross Society to make the event a grant success , but sadly only a few persons attended to donate bloods which is really a thing of worry as reported by Assam Association Delhi.
