Unicode solution for Assamese scripts

In order to pursue further  on  various outcome  in the recently held  talk session  viz   Assamese Language: Heritage, Problems, Solutions” (অসমীয়া ভাষাঃ ঐতিহ্য, সমস্যা, সমাধান) on  25th July 2021 by Dr Lohit Datta-Barua,   USA , we are planning to apprise the matter to Appropriate Authority . In this case, if some of us could provide few inputs on following issues viz.

It is learnt that there are some more instances where multiple scripts are clubbed in one Code chart. ie. Clubbing Assamese with Bengali scripts is not only the exception   But it is  heard  that in the clubbing code chart ,  Assamese scripts is getting less  prominence than Bengali scripts though it's veracity is yet to be known.

Now we are exploring how the present arrangement of clubbing scripts can create danger for  Assamese language in future . Do we really need separate code chart for ‘Assamese’ script  or will it work in the present combined chart with some minor tweaking?

It is found in the Unicode consortium website,  in the  Code Charts page viz.  http://www.unicode.org/charts/ , Assamese script is clubbed with Bengali and appeared as   “Bengali and Assamese” in the home-page but in the linked page  i.e. https://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0980.pdf  it is appearing only as “Bengali”.  Should we proceed to appropriate Authority to correct the mistake or should we leave it and instead we should try for separate chart .

Also are the following apprehension spreading  are true  viz.

i.  As Assamese scripts are not placed in order in the Code chart ( due to prominence of Bengali Language) ,  sorting/ indexing   of Assamese words may yield erratic result due to their  disruptive position.
ii. Transliteration   may become  difficult
ii. Assamese Language may become  incompatible with future technology i.e. AI, ML  etc for the above two reasons

Don't   we have technical solutions to overcome these issue?
As we are planning to  apprise the issue with Concerned Authority , some inputs from your end would be great help to us.
