A few misleading news have been seen spreading through media/ fb on improper treatment received by a few COVID +ve patients from Assam undergoing treatment in Delhi here. FYI, We have been closely monitoring a few patients ( 5 Nos ) who came from Assam to Delhi for medical treatment but got affected with CORONA +ve here ( 3 are Cancer patients) , but would like to convey that they are getting World Class treatment here. They are currently undergoing treatment in the tow top class dedicated CORONA hospitals i.e. Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Tahirpur, New Delhi and Lok Nayak Hospital, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Delhi Gate, New Delhi, Both of these hospitals are offering world class treatment that are absolutely FREE. Nothing to be feared on expenses. All are FREE,
Luckily the Nodal office of the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital is a doctor passed out from GMC, Guwahati , who are on regular contact (with Assamese language) and regularly updating us . One person who was undergoing treatment there was later detected with his existing respiratory infection ie Pneumonia for which his condition was deteriorating two days back, but immediately shifted to Lok Nayak Hospital Hospital, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, for Plasma treatment ( one of the most sophisticate treatment ). Later ,it was conveyed by the Nodal Officer, Lok Nayak Hospital that his condition is improving after the treatment and currently he in ICU with Oxygen.
The reason why I have decided to update these development is because such misleading/panic message spreading through media / social networking in Assam is only creating bad image to our Community. We were never been " খাই পাত ফলা "জাতি. Being ex officio of GS of AAD, such development including creating nuisance have been regularly been updated amongst Assamese community members here in Delhi , who are not impressed with these propaganda . Pls stop.
