Smti Nizara Phukon Daughter of Bagadhar Phukon & Akoni Phukon Laichang, Desangpani Charaideo ( Assam) and Founding Secretary, Brikshyabandhu ( People for Tree) has recently reached Delhi walking from Charaideu district (Assam) covering a distance of approx 2300 Kms within 3 months conveying messages for preservation and conservation of environment for future . She is currently staying at Assam house and meeting several key persons in Delhi to press her demand for a better Earth.
On 8th March , a few representatives of Assam Association, Delhi led by General Secretary met her at Assam house and honoured her for her long march with purposes to conserve the Environment. She has already met a few key persons in Delhi and submitted Memorandums to take necessary action for preservation of the environment.
